2.10 understand the difference between hydrogen chloride gas and hydrochloric acid

2.10 •hydrochloric acid is hydrogen chloride dissolved in water 
                  •the two ions become detached leaving Cl- and H+ ions. H+ is acidic, hence it’s  acidic
