2.33 describe the conditions under which iron rusts

2.33 •iron corrodes easily
        •water and oxygen make iron rust 

        •the chemical reaction is oxidation as the iron gains oxygen to form iron (III) oxide
                  •water is loosely bonded so it becomes hydrated - now it’s rust 
                              •rusting is sped up by the presence of electrolytes such as sodium chloride

        •iron + oxygen + water = hydrated iron(III)oxide (rust)
