1.45 describe experiments to investigate electrolysis, using inert electrodes, of molten salts such as lead(II) bromide and predict the products

1.45 •molten lead bromide produces lead(s) and bromine (g)
                  •electrodes are inert and so don’t take part 
                  •electrons flow from the anode to cathode, through the battery
